Pop Up! American Made Vintage Workwear & Outwear from Green Cove Collective
feat Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, Levis, Woolrich, and more!
Hey friends,
This weekend our good pals from Green Cove Collective in Virginia are coming down the mountain and setting up shop with us!
The owner’s of Green Cove, Scott & Alison, are some of my oldest and dearest friends, and they played a significant part in our move from CA to NC.

Scott previously worked in textile manufacturing, and had a hand in bringing my wife, Lauren, out here to work with him. Scott’s textile experience led to launching his own brand of North Carolina-made socks and hats, which would be some of the very first things we carried and sold at our pop-ups back in 2019!
Scott and Alison’s store was one of my original inspirations for Fancy Groceries. From the wood burning stove to the hot coffee and the always-welcoming conversation, he built the kind of shop that you never want to leave.

Scott has always had a great eye for vintage goods and clothes. Which brings us to today. For the better part of the last year, Scott and I have been collecting vintage, American made workwear and outerwear, and we’re finally ready to bring it to you guys!

We’ve got sizes ranging from XS to XXL for both the guys and the gals. Here is a just a small sample of what we’re bringing to the shop this weekend…

Situated directly on the Virginia Creeper Trail and the Appalachian Trail, Green Cove Collective serves not only the local community of the mountain town of Damascus, but a steady stream of through-hikers and bike riders. Green Cove is the only stop for supplies, a hot cup of coffee, and a new pair of socks for 17 miles. It’s a literal haven from the cold and the rain and the summer heat.
Sadly, Helene has resulted in the temporary closure of the shop, the hurricane having wiped out a majority of that 17 mile stretch.
Only accessible now by car, Green Cove is rarely open, if at all.
So I encouraged Scott to set up shop here all weekend and to bring not only his vintage collection, but also his socks, hats, gloves, backpacks, and other very gift-able items!
The pop-up starts Saturday Nov. 23 at 11am and ends on Sunday the 14th at 4pm.
Come on out, enjoy some coffee in the cold weather, get an early start on that holiday shopping, and hang out with these two very cool guys -

See you at the shop!
